Our main export item is Ready-made Garments. The textile and clothing industries provide the single source of growth in Bangladesh’s rapidly developing economy. Exports of textiles and garments are the principal source of foreign exchange earnings. By 2021 exports of textiles, clothing, and ready-made garments (RMG) accounted for 77% of Bangladesh’s total merchandise exports. Bangladesh is second only to China, the world’s second-largest apparel exporter of western brands. Sixty percent of the export contracts of western brands are with European buyers and about forty percent with American buyers.

Our second export item is Leather and Leather Goods. The government is planning to boost the country’s export of leather and leather goods to US$ 12 billion by 2030, officials said. The time for fulfilling the target has been fixed between 2021 and 2030, and the timeframe would be coordinated with the export policy.

Our Third export item is Raw Jute and Jute goods, and Handicraft, Dry Fish, Crabs, Eel Fish, Perishable, Paper and Paper Craft are regular export to Asia, Europe and USA etc…
